Merriman Falls is a lush, picturesque waterfall tucked along the South Shore Road in Olympic National Park’s Quinault Rain Forest. Cascading about 40 feet down a moss-covered cliff, the falls tumble over boulders and fallen logs draped in ferns, creating a classic Pacific Northwest rainforest scene. Because it’s located just off the roadside, Merriman Falls is one of the park’s most easily accessible waterfalls — visitors can pull over for a quick stop or linger to take photos surrounded by emerald greens, misty air, and the gentle roar of falling water.
